Comfortable bed in a lovely, clean room. However, WiFi connection troubled us during our stay.

Staying at Locanda A Ca Du Gigante felt like a delightful escape. The location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes from the beach and close to local shops and restaurants. My quadruple room was charming but a bit cramped for our family, especially with luggage and a toddler. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, even assisting with our heavy bags on arrival. Breakfast each morning was a real treat, offering fresh croissants and a variety of local products. The coffee station outside the room was a nice touch too. However, accessing our room involved a steep climb and quite a few stairs, which was tiring after a day of exploration. Due to staff not providing room WiFi details during check-in, we faced some connectivity issues at first too. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great hospitality, but consider your travel gear and enjoy the breakfast!

i can’t believe the steep climb to our room was never mentioned! absolutley ridiculous, dragging our luggage all those stairs. i also woudl ve appreciated if they had provided wifi details upon check-in instead of leaving us in the dark. ironically, the breakfast looked promising but i just couldn’t let these annoyances slide.

We enjoyed exploring the charming old town through the path from Via Roma, with stunning views of the Mediterranean scrub. The kids loved the cozy vibe of our room, and breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious local treats like fresh croissants.

In my wife's opinion, having more kitchen supplies for families would be great.

This was just a well-suited match for a weekend breather in Monterosso al Mare with fantastic value for money. After a long day of sightseeing, returning to our apartment with a fan made the warm nights more bearable. Be prepared for some climbs if you're staying in the separate buildings.
